The County of Santa Cruz Sanitation District has awarded FleetSoft the contract to implement a computerized GPS based vehicle tracking system. FleetSoft’s Truck Tracker GPS Solution was selected over several other candidates.
Truck Tracker GPS was recommended as the best solution due to the unique ability to directly integrate with the Truck Tracker Fleet Maintenance software, which has been in use by the County since the year 2000. “Efficiency will be gained by having all the data available in one program to facilitate scheduling routine maintenance”, according to Larson Consulting firm conducting the GPS vehicle tracking system study for the County.
The County expects to recover its cost for the system within the first two years of operation.
FleetSoft continues to develop the dynamic fleet management solution to meet our customers growing needs. County of Santa Cruz will not only have the ability to continue to track their fleet’s maintenance, fuel usage and fuel costs, but also the location of the fleet and crew. This will reduce response time and optimize routes.
